Fabulous February Gallery Events

From Ravenna by Ofra Svorai
It's February and my 2012 Grey Bruce calendar is turned to Ofra Svorai's painting From Ravenna by Ofra Svorai. This painting depicts the beautiful scenery that we are so fortunate to have in this part of Ontario.

Ofra was born and raised on a Kibbutz in Israel. Ofra has always been surrounded and inspired by nature. She moved to Canada in 1973 and enrolled at Sheridan College School of Design, graduating with honors in 1977. She works as a full time artist. Her work can be seen at galleries, her own showroom near Kimberley, Ontario and her website. www.ofrasvorai.com

Here's what's happening at the galleries. The weather has been great for driving this year so it's a great time to get out there and enjoy the snow.
