Art Banners Launch in Owen Sound

May 15th, at the Art Banner Launch in Owen Sound.

The image shows just a few of the many banners that will be hung in downtown Owen Sound in 2010. Several artists represented on The Art Map are featured on the banners.

Second from the right is Ofra Svorai from Kimberley, Ontario. Her paintings on silk make good use of bold vibrant colour.

Just got this message... from Gallery de Boer.
Their Annex location on street level is closing. The main gallery upstairs is staying put however so no worries there. The building that houses the Annex has been sold. The new owner wants them out in TWO WEEKS!
