I'm a curious person so I often wonder how many local artists are selling their work online. And more importantly... does it work for them. What is their strategy? Do they have an e-commerce store or do they sell on ebay's auction site or etsy or another art website?
I know of at least four artists that have either sold work in the past or are currently selling on etsy or ebay. How many artists on The Art Map are selling their art online?
Here's one artist that sells her art on etsy. Kate makes beautiful hand blown glass vases, bowls, decorations and jewellery. Kate's brick and mortar gallery Infinite Glassworks is open during the summer months.
