Flood Damage to Nature's Art Gallery in Scone
On August 15th a torrential downpour did some major damage to the Scone Mill, home of Nature's Art Gallery. Scone Mill generates electricity. The flood caused structural damage to the Mill and the owners do not have flood insurance since they are located in a flood plain. The Mill can be saved but they need help. Estimated costs to repair the mill could be $250,000. Donations can be made in CIBC in Chesley.

Scone Mill is the second oldest hydro generating plant in Ontario.
