If you have been following this blog Lynn Connell was in Africa working as a volunteer a few years ago. And she'll be going back.
She will be working on two projects the Masai Girl's Education Fund. Sending 19 Masai tribal girls to secondary school. And The Huruma Orphanage with 52 small children ages 2-6 working to relocate them to a new home.

Southampton Art Gallery and Shop

Some good news from Southampton Art Gallery and Shop. We have heard a lot of negative news lately about the economy. Time to talk about good news. The gallery and shop has announced that 2008 was its most successful year in their ten year history. That is something to celebrate.
Richard DeVrieze of Grey County is featured in Southampton Art Gallery's Guest Artist Room until March 20th. They will also feature some astronomy photography on behalf of the Bruce County Astronomical Society.
More happenings April 9 to May 10 will be the 7th Annual Feast for the Eyes Juried Art Exhibit for emerging artists. For more information about other events see their web site by clicking the title above.
