Eleanor Pauling who co-owns the Bridges Gallery in Owen Sound was made a Lady Knight. According to the Museum of European Art's web site the order expects that Eleanor will become active in American Canadian cooperation in the field of fine arts. All this happened in Clarence New York. Eleanor organizes workshops and lectures in Owen Sound.
Eleanor's painting subjects include landscapes, mountains, lakes and rivers. I have seen bridges among her work as well.
Eleanor is a painter and is a keen promoter of the arts. Congratulations Eleanor.

- I started painting and drawing at an early age and was fascinated by artists' works. When my aunt showed me some of her paintings, I was hooked. I've been a graphic designer since the late seventies and started publishing The Art Map in 2005. I continue working as a graphic designer but am also driven to paint as well.
